About Me

Hi! I'm Mimi (she/her).

I'm glad you're here.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, a Kansas Citian, a mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a trauma survivor, and an active learner. I am a deep listener, a curious soul, and I am actively engaged in my own ongoing healing and unlearning journey. I am a complex and whole person.

Mimi Bachman LCSW

In my sessions with clients, I use trauma-informed and attachment-focused techniques to create a space where we can explore what's going on with honesty and vulnerability. I meet you right where you are, and we work together there. I stay curious about the ways in which your brilliant brain and body are doing everything they can to stay safe and be successful. How are your past and present connected? We untangle it all together. I can help you access, process, and better understand what keeps you stuck. As we sit in these places together and cover them in understanding and compassion, it can help you access your natural curiosity, playfulness, and motivation to create the life you want and deserve, but might have felt out of reach. I deeply believe that each person is capable of change if they want it, and that change can be hard. Finding space and support to heal and find alignment in your life clears the path forward.

I know I can help because I've been where you are. I have felt stuck and unclear about how to move forward. I also continue to access my own consultation and support so I can stay present with you on your journey. Freedom and healing are possible, and I am honored to walk alongside you on your path.

Any and all questions are welcome in sessions. We will explore whatever comes up together - no topic, big or small, is off limits.
