About Me

She/Her

If you're interested in my credentials and trainings, I have it listed at the bottom of this page. But first, I want to share my approach and how I think about therapy.

I believe effective therapy is relational and collaborative.

What does this mean?

You are a unique person with your own story, so your experience with therapy will be unique. I gather information from you as we start meeting and throughout the therapy process to better understand your needs, your strengths, your environment, and what could be most helpful to you in therapy.

I pay attention to your early relational experiences with your caregivers and other meaningful events in your childhood to help us understand your patterns of relating to yourself and others. These early patterns we have are often unknown to us, but can get stirred up big time in your own parenting and also in therapy.

Learning about your fantasies and your dreams can give us clues into your unconscious (basically, the part of you that feels confusing or unknown).

I work to create a space where we can welcome all parts of you, even the parts that you might have learned you had to hide early on.
